The Space Between Relationships

The space between relationships is often the fastest growth period of a person’s life. A person can make significant progress while in a romantic relationship, but the speed and intensity are not nearly as great.

How does this happen? The energy created by the pain or uncertainty of the transition. It can also be generated by the exhilaration of being out of a toxic relationship. This energy can be used for personal growth or wasted on unproductive activities.

Many people start a new relationship immediately and miss this opportunity to grow and become better people and partners. The urge to replace a lost love as quickly as possible is normal. But doing so is not wise.

It’s better to pause, reflect, and take advantage of the energy generated during the transition after a breakup. This is especially true if the breakup is painful.

The space between relationships can feel like an abyss. If you stop, relax, and allow yourself to experience the void and quietness after a person has left your life, you’ll begin to return to your core and your dreams.

Use this unique opportunity to design new plans for your life. Then, take the first step toward achieving them immediately! You might be surprised at the strength of your courage to do this during this period when you’d normally be afraid to even try. Be sure to take full advantage of this extraordinary courage and energy.

Your goal should be to emerge as a stronger, smarter, and more compassionate person, partner, and friend on the other end of this transition. You will probably gain some degree of this no matter how much effort you put into it. A transition between love relationships always changes a person. Hopefully, the change is positive. But to waste it would be foolish. Rise up and ride the wave all the way to shore! The shore of a breathtaking white sand beach lined with majestic palm trees. 🙂
