Why I Love Blogging, Writing, and eBusiness

Merge: Solotopia and Guru Habits have been merged into this site.

Below are the reasons why I love blogging, writing, and e-business. First, let me share the experiences that led me to this enlightenment.

I started in e-business in 2000. What came before this gave me the insight, appreciation, and drive to create an online business.

My career began at a well-known international corporation. Although I learned a lot, received outstanding pay and perks, and participated in many exciting events, I was never truly happy. As a corporate soldier, one must adhere to the directions, goals, and whims of individuals, committees, and boards. Although I am grateful for the experience, I never have and never will return.

I first learned about the Internet and website design during several college classes I took after leaving the corporate world. I knew immediately that starting an e-business was a perfect fit for me.

Early on, I decided that I was going to learn how to do everything myself, from website design to e-commerce, so that I did not have to rely on anyone else. This was quite a challenge at times, especially when it came to dealing with code. But I pressed on and figured it out. Today, I’m thrilled that I did because I do not have to outsource anything or rely on anyone to get things done.

Here are the reasons why I love blogging, writing, and e-business.
